The son of Gary and Cissy Devivie. He shows up at Koumori Village - a remote village where the ancient scroll is said to be located - and attempts to acquire the land in order to build a new Billy Land amusement park. Everyone who refuses to negotiate with him is soon found dead. Later, it is revealed that Henry Charles is employed by the fake Chuck Culkin, who gave him the job of 'disposing' of all the fake Billy Bat's around the world. Henry Charles' life is drastically altered by the manga Shishou wrote for his mother Cissy in the 1920s; the one which would apparently change the future so Henry would not follow an evil path. Kevin Yamagata reproduces the manga in front of Henry, appealing to his humanity and echoing Cissy's motherly love. In a fit of confusion, Henry tumbles off a cliffside after witnessing a vision of Kevin Yamagata's successor; Kevin Goodman. He is presumed dead, but reappears later, saving Smith from a group of thugs who were seeking information about Kevin Yamagata. It is later revealed that Henry was rescued and nursed back to health by Zofuu, who asks that Henry protect his disciple Kevin Yamagata, so that the three mangaka - Zofuu, Kevin Yamagata and Kevin Goodman - have the time and safety they need in order to craft an alternate future for the world. Later on in the series, Henry begins working as a guard and aide to Kevin Goodman; Kevin Yamagata's successor. Eventually, Henry is able to communicate with the Bat. The Bat warns him of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the impending danger to Kevin Goodman's life. Henry is able to save Kevin Goodman by diverting him away from the World Trade Center minutes before the attack, but Henry then enters the building himself in an attempt to save as many people as he can, in order to atone for his actions earlier on in the series. After 9/11, Henry is declared missing and presumed dead.
