Soon after, he begun teaching Irene albeit for only a month. Afterwards, Gaston approached him with a letter from Asley which entailed him teaching the Magic Guardians. He lost a bet he made to Gaston thus he made his way to Regalia, the capital of the Nation. When he entered the capital, he had also come into contact with Shi'shichou the Violet Phoenix, on the of four Sacred Beasts at the time. It was revealed that he had some history with it. Additionally, during the era of antiquity, he had a very different appearance of being slimmer, less noisy and or lazy, and less bulky. He had also lost of Magic Warrior Poer in the Familiar Chalice.
